A FEW WORDS FROM ROBERT HARRIS, BUSINESS ENGAGEMENT ADVISOR, ON PADDA CARE’S EMPLOYER OF THE MONTH NOMINATION…
Padda Care currently has 3 specialist dementia care homes situated in Llandybie, Ammanford and in Morriston, Swansea. The care provided at Padda Care Homes is tailored to the individual needs of residents by using a person-centred approach, taking into consideration every resident’s individual care plans. Residents live as part of the community and lead as full and active lives as possible.
Padda Care Homes & Home Care have been engaging with the Business Development Unit (part of NPTC Group of Colleges) since November 2021. In that time, they have sourced funding, and delivered training to over 100 employees ensuring staff are confident in delivering the best customer care possible.
NPTC Group of Colleges has supported a number of employees at Padda Care with Manual Handling and First Aid training as well as exploring opportunities for further staff developement.

We have been dealing with Business Engagement Advisor Robert Harris from the Business Development Unit at NPTC Group since November 2021. He has gone above and beyond the professional and efficient service we expected to help us achieve our goal of delivering the best staff training and development opportunities.
Developing our staff is paramount in ensuring we provide a high level of care for all our residents and home care clients, and the courses have been delivered to the highest standard and have been an enjoyable experience. Staff have fully engaged with the process and we are extremely grateful for all the support we have received from Robert and the Business Development Unit and look forward to building the relationship in the years to come.
