We are thrilled to announce Neath RFC as our October 2021 Employer of the Month! Following a nomination from our Business Engagement Advisor, Robert Harris, Neath RFC was chosen as October’s winners due to their investment and commitment to staff training and development.
A FEW WORDS FROM ROBERT HARRIS, BUSINESS ENGAGEMENT ADVISOR, ON NEATH RFC’S EMPLOYER OF THE MONTH NOMINATION…
Neath RFC has recently undertaken training courses for their staff in the following areas, Spectator Safety Management Level 3 and Emergency First Aid. Neath RFC has also offered work experience placements and is very keen to engage with the college at all levels.
The new management company Cambria Sports Group want to engage with the community and local training providers in the area to ensure they can help with offering opportunities for work and experience to local people.
A FEW WORDS FROM NEATH RFC ON THEIR EMPLOYER EXPERIENCE…
Neath RFC is so grateful for the continued support from Robert Harris, Business Engagement Advisor for the Business Development Unit (part of NPTC Group of Colleges). We are working to raise the standards of stewards and staff and the support and help that we have received from Robert has enabled us to achieve our goals. Personal development is so important in realising the potential within people, and this enables us at Neath RFC to present a more efficient and professional service within our business.
This support has been gratefully received and to date, we have enjoyed Spectator Safety Management training with the course tutor who has been professional and thorough throughout the course period and has set very challenging goals which he has supported throughout the duration of the course. Practical assessment is still to be finalised, which has been effectively put on hold due to Covid-19. We are eagerly awaiting a return to some normality, in order to finalise this training commitment.
Looking forward, Neath RFC is appreciative of Robert Harris for further improvements in Spectator Safety Management and Emergency First Aid where we recently completed an enjoyable and successful course at our Neath Clubhouse for our newly recruited stewards.
