We are pleased to announce the winners of our June Employer of the Month are M&D Care. M&D Care were chosen as the June winner by the panel after nomination by our Business Engagement Advisor Andrew Bloomfield. Andrew has engaged with M&D since 2017 and has facilitated training to develop and upskill the dedicated staff at M&D Care.
A FEW WORDS FROM M&D CARE ON THEIR EMPLOYER EXPERIENCE…
M&D Care is committed to the continuous improvement of its services and views staff learning and development as core to delivering a quality service. Developing our staff is paramount in ensuring we continue to provide exceptional care for all the people we support.
M&D Care has developed its own learning and development framework, from this framework we nurture a capable, confident and skilled workforce. We offer personal career pathways that enable staff to develop their skills, knowledge and expertise within a supportive environment. We are currently in the process of expanding our in-house training delivery and as part of this development, we have been working with Andrew and the Business Development Unit at NPTC Group of Colleges, who have been able to support us by delivering the Train the Trainer course, to a number of our employees, which has met the needs of both the employee and the business.
The support has enabled us to develop a learning pathway for our employees, which has helped employees to develop and improve skills to grow in their roles and acquire skills for their career development. The College were extremely flexible in delivering the training at our premises. As a result of this training, our employees are using their skills to effectively deliver bespoke in-house training.
Working with the College, we have been able secure funding via Personal Learning Accounts, which has supported us with the costs associated to training and enabled us to progress with developing a team of in-house trainers to help future proof us with the implementation of growth plans and business objectives.
We are pleased with the service provided by Andrew and the Business Development Unit at NPTC Group of Colleges, who continue to assist us with further employee training requirements and scheduling more dates for future course delivery.
