We are pleased to announce that the winners of our March 2023 Employer of the Month are Seer Construction. Following a nomination by our Business Engagement Advisor Maya John, Seer Construction were chosen by the panel as March’s winners for their commitment to staff training and development.
A FEW WORDS FROM MAYA JOHN, BUSINESS ENGAGEMENT ADVISOR, ON SEER CONSTRUCTION’S EMPLOYER OF THE MONTH NOMINATION:
“Seer Construction, a family owned business, has played a leading role in the construction and development industry in Wales since its formation in 2009. Seer have proudly grown the company from solely working on domestic projects to expanding into large commercial civil projects and heritage sites.
Since working with Seer Construction last year, they have shown their commitment to development by working towards upskilling their team with training courses across various sectors within the business. Utilising the PLA funding scheme that NPTC Group of Colleges has available has allowed Seer to engage in an extensive range of training and has supported staff to develop their skills. They have engaged with training from Mental Health First Aid to industry specific ACS Gas Renewal and we have set in place a comprehensive training plan for the upcoming year.
Having frequent catch-ups with Seer has catered for a seamless working relationship and has allowed me a great insight into the work they are carrying out and the high level of training and qualifications that is accredited to their workforce. Their dedication to help support and develop local talent is greatly recognised within the community and is a testament to the business and their work.
It has been a pleasure to work alongside Seer Construction and I look forward to continuing to develop our relationship and supporting the business.”

“We are really grateful to have the opportunity to up-skill our staff with NPTC. They provide a range of courses, and have always been very communicative and informative. Our NPTC representative, Maya, is particularly helpful and is always at hand if we have any queries. Seer wouldn’t be the company it is without our workforce, so this year, we are striving to continue with their personal development in a multitude of areas.
