A FEW WORDS FROM SWANSEA BAY UNIVERSITY HEALTH BOARD ON THEIR EMPLOYER EXPERIENCE…
NPTC Group of Colleges have been instrumental in designing and setting up Swansea Bay Apprentice Academy.
The managers, assessors and administration staff are always on hand to help and support the Academy team to recruit apprentices into posts, offering advice on appropriate learning programmes relating to the job descriptions that we offer. Pathways Training work with individual departments to train staff as assessors to deliver the first level 3 Pathology qualification in Wales.
The Health Care Support Level 2 programme which all Health Care Support Work apprentices enrol on is a stepping stone to these groups, having guaranteed interviews for permanent posts, which has a 90% success rate and these learners then enrol onto level 3 programmes.
Existing staff also benefit from the expertise of NPTC Group of Colleges range of development programmes, with over 400 staff enrolled in a wide variety of learning aimed at improving their skills, gaining promotion and meeting the organisation’s needs.
Particular successes are the AAT programmes for finance staff development and the increase in the number of HR staff and recruiting managers achieving the HR CIPD qualification.
All staff within NPTC Group of Colleges are professional and provide the best possible learning environment for each learner, always going above and beyond to ensure that they achieve.
We look forward to continuing our partnership with NPTC Group of Colleges continuing to develop our staff and support the recruitment of new apprentices.
