With over 160 years of material expertise and 45 years in powder atomization, Sandvik Osprey is the number one provider of gas atomized metal-powder for various maufacturing technologies.
They offer a wide range of highly engineered products and services based on their integrated production platform and extensive Research & Development. The Sandvik Osprey range of products includes metal powders and controled expansion (CE) alloy products.
NPTC Group of Colleges has recently supported a nuumber of employees to extend and develop their skills and knowledge in Mental Health Awareness, Excel training, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Apprenticeships and an Engineering Degree Apprenticeship.
As well as enabling career development, this training has boosted the engineering capability of the company. Sandvik Osprey continues to work with NPTC Group, identifying and defining new training requirements and scheduling more dates for course delivery.

NPTC Group of Colleges has played a vital role in assisting us to train and retain our staff for several years now. Investing in our employees through training and development is really important to us. Our customers also benefit from our well-trained teams. Being able to train and develop our employees also helps us achieve our goal of being an ’employer of choice’.
Our employees have benefited from training in MHFA, Excel, Mechanical & Electrical Apprenticeships, and the Engineering Degree Apprenticeship. We hope to access more courses from the college in the future.
The course tutors at NPTC have been helpful, informative and professional at all times and we look forward to continuing to work with them in the future.
