A FEW WORDS FROM ECOLAB ON THEIR EMPLOYER EXPERIENCE…
We have worked with NPTC Group of Colleges for a number of years, providing training for apprentices undertaking a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Engineering and more recently with commercial training, assisted by Robert Harris, Business Engagement Advisor within the Business Development Unit.
Ignazio Pistillo, Plant Manager for Ecolab in Baglan, has been with the company since 2016, his previous roles have been TPM Manager and Production Manager at Ecolab’s Rozzano plant in Italy. Ignazio joined Baglan in July 2019 and will lead the plant team on their ongoing journey to deliver the highest quality and customer service and commitment to staff training.
The apprentices receive high quality practical as well as theoretical training, as well as good quality feedback for them and also us, the employer. We receive regular feedback and communication from the course lecturer and our apprentices really enjoy the courses and level of training they receive. We have noticed positive changes in the quality of the apprentices’ practical work as well as their knowledge. They are making great progress with their problem solving, analytical and technical skills.
As mentioned above, we have also started sourcing other commercial training from NPTC Group of Colleges, including Excel, Train the Trainer, Leading and Motivating a Team, Fire Warden Training – we have received great positive feedback from the associates that have attended these courses, with associates commenting on the quality of training, knowledge of the trainer and the facilities. All associates that have attended these courses agree that training objectives have been met.
