Course Overview
This course is aimed at practicing electricians who wish to gain qualifications in inspection and testing. This qualification is for qualified electricians with testing experience. For newly qualified electricians, the 2392 Fundamental Inspection and Testing course is recommended.
This is a combined inspection & testing course (2391-52),
this includes both:
– Initial Inspection and Verification of Electrical Systems (2391-50)
– Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Systems (2391-51)
If you are over 19 and are currently living in Wales you could be eligible for a FREE course under the Welsh Government Personal Learning Accounts (PLA) funding. We can discuss funding with you upon enquiry.

Entry Requirements
Qualified electricians working within the electrotechnical industry who have extensive testing experience, have recently completed their 18th Edition qualification i.e. City
& Guilds 2382-18. -
Method of Assessment
The course consists of classroom tuition and exercises
with an open book multiple choice online assessment upon
completion. All candidates must complete a 2 hour full
exam in order to gain this qualification. There is also a
practical assessment that includes both an initial and
periodic inspection & test.
