The business department offers a range of full and part-time courses from levels 1 to 6 at NPTC Group of Colleges.
Each department reflects a dynamic sector, with staff bringing a balance of academic excellence and industry expertise to create a stimulating learning experience.
The innovative BTEC Level 1/2 Accelerated Learning in Business course is specifically designed to develop essential business skills. Completion of this one-year course may allow progression onto level 3 courses.
The full-time Level 3 BTEC Diploma in Business is available at Neath College.
Alternatively, the Level 3 BTEC Diploma in Business can be combined with Applied Law at the Brecon Beacons or Newtown College.
In sum, this course will cover topics including marketing, finance, human resources, and enterprise.
Furthermore, students can progress onto Higher Education and study business, law or finance-related subjects at university.
Students can also do a degree programme at NPTC Group of Colleges.
The business department offers students the opportunity to study an HND in Business Studies and BA (Hons) in Business Studies at Neath College or BA (Hons) in Business & IT at Brecon Beacons College.
Travel and Tourism
Travel and Tourism is an exciting and ever-changing industry. The tourism department offers a variety of courses from levels 1 to 7.
The professional and approachable staff have industry-specific experience and real-world understanding of the sector.
In particular, the course content includes business planning for tourism, with students organising events and running full-scale operator tours.
As well as this, students will develop a range of customer service skills including event marketing, teamwork, and leadership skills.
