Course Overview
This Level 2 Part-Time Evening (5pm-9pm) Welding Course is designed for individuals who are interested in learning a specific welding process, either MIG, TIG, or MMA in vertical and overhead positions.
The course runs for 16 weeks and provides students with the opportunity to gain an accredited award in their chosen welding process.
This course is a progression from our Level 1 Part-time Evening course.
Throughout the course, students will further their knowledge in welding theory and practical skills required to effectively carry out their chosen welding process. The course is taught in a workshop environment, providing students with the opportunity to practice their skills and develop their technique under the supervision of an experienced tutor.
The course will cover the fundamentals of welding, including health and safety considerations, welding principles, and welding equipment.

Entry Requirements
Substanial experiance in welding or Level 1 welding certificate

Method of Assessment
Completed welded joints and an oral questioning examination

Additional Costs
There is a £75 Materials fee. Workshop PPE such as: Fire retardant overalls, safety boots, glasses etc.
