A2 Certificate Of Competence (A2 CofC) (Part-Time)

Course Overview

This qualification allows you to legally fly your drone in more demanding locations (such as built-up areas) and to fly closer to uninvolved people. Holding an A2 CofC means that you can operate in the new A2 (Open) sub-category, no matter if it’s for recreational or commercial reasons.

  • Entry Requirements

    In preparation for the A2 CofC Theory Course you must adhere to the CAA drone and model aircraft code and obtain a Flyer ID from the CAA.

  • Summary of Outcomes

    Successful delegates can progress onto the General Visual Line of Sight Certificate (GVC) course.
