The department uses programmes such as Adobe Creative Suite, Visual Studio NET, Java NetBeans, Brackets, BFXR, Audacity, and Game Maker.

Computing and Information technology programmes are regularly monitored by Labour Market Intelligence (LMI).

This matches the requirements of the job market, as well as preparing students for Higher Education.

Employment is favourable in the IT industry, with digital technology providing highly paid career paths.

Opportunities include finical services for IT departments, manufacturing, and governmental establishments.
