Course Overview
The Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 require all employers to make arrangements to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work. This includes carrying out risk assessments, appointing a suitable amount of first aiders and providing appropriate first aid training.
This course equips the candidate with the skills, knowledge and positive attitude to manage an emergency situation. This course is approved by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) to their high standards.
If you are over 19 and are currently living in Wales you could be eligible for a FREE course under the Welsh Government Personal Learning Accounts (PLA) funding. We can discuss funding with you upon enquiry.

- The first aider & legislation
- The nervous system
- Fractures
- Burns & scalds

- Poisons
- Transportation of casualties
- Also includes AED training with certificate valid for 12 months -

Practical and written assessments.
