Course Overview
This course will equip delegates with an understanding of the Computer Aided Design (CAD) Parametric Modelling environment, in terms of hardware, software and physical surroundings. It will explore the typical composition of a CAD Parametric Modelling system and Health and Safety matters that are associated with safe working practices.
Upon competition, students will have a basic understanding of the CAD environment and should be able to create 3D models, 3D assemblies and 2D drawings that conform to relevant industry standards.
This course is ideal for those who have no, or little, knowledge of using CAD and would like to further develop their skills for industry.

Summary of Outcomes
Successful delegates will gain the opportunity to progress on to City & Guilds Level 2 CAD courses and will gain more experience using CAD hardware and software.
