FPV Drone Foundations: Systems, Safety & Practical Flight (Part-Time)

Course Overview

This one-day introductory course provides learners with a practical foundation in First Person View (FPV) drone operation.

Combining classroom-based learning, simulator training, and hands-on flight practice, participants will develop an understanding of FPV drone systems, safe operating procedures, and essential piloting skills.

This course is designed to support emerging opportunities within the renewable energy and green technology sectors, and introduces the knowledge required to begin a progression pathway into advanced drone operations.

  • Summary of Outcomes

    Successful learners can progress on to full drone courses:
    - A2 Certificate of Competency (A2 CofC)
    - General Visual Line of Sight Certificate (GVC)
