Course Overview
This theory-based course has been developed in collaboration between the British Woodworking Federation (BWF) and NOCN to promote awareness of the correct installation of timber fire doors within the construction and manufacturing industries.
It provides learners with a comprehensive understanding of fire door assemblies and door-sets, including how they function within the wider passive fire protection system and why correct installation is critical for safety and compliance.

Successful delegates gain increased employment opportunities in fire safety roles. The course also fulfils the requirement for the Level 3 Advanced Carpentry and Joinery Apprenticeship Standard.
