CompTIA A+ is the industry standard for starting your IT career and appears in more tech support job listings than any other IT credential. This course focuses on foundational skills in hardware, networking, mobile devices, and troubleshooting.
Core 1 and Core 2 certification prepares you for roles like IT support specialist and help desk technician while building the knowledge needed to pursue advanced certifications like Network+ and Security+.

Entry Requirements
Delegates must have access to a computer, and either:
- 3 - 6 months in an IT role, or:
- Personal experience in fixing and building computers. -

Core 1 (220-1101) – Focuses on devices and connectivity
- Mobile Devices – Setting up and supporting laptops, smartphones, and tablets.
- Networking – Basics of wired/wireless networks, IP addresses, and internet connectivity.
- Hardware – Identifying and working with computer parts and peripherals.
- Virtualization & Cloud – Intro to cloud computing and virtual machines.
- Troubleshooting – Solving hardware and network problems.Core 2 (220-1102) – Focuses on systems, security, and support
- Operating Systems – Installing and managing Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile OS.
- Security – Keeping devices and data secure with best practices and tools.
- Software Troubleshooting – Fixing OS and application issues.
- Operational Procedures – Following IT best practices, documentation, and professional conduct. -
