Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) Training
A Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) undertakes energy assessments on domestic/residential properties which include houses and flats.
This qualification course provides a fantastic opportunity for those wanting to become a fully qualified Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA), regardless of previous experience.

On-Construction Domestic Energy Assessor (OCDEA) Training
An On-Construction Domestic Energy Assessor (OCDEA) undertakes energy assessments on new build properties.
Every newly built domestic dwelling in the UK requires an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). As an OCDEA, you will have the skills and knowledge to complete energy calculations using Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) software to produce a new build EPC.
Elmhurst provides two different courses which cater for both new entrants as well as those with previous experience in the industry. Each one will deliver the relevant skills, technical understanding and qualifications required in order to produce energy assessments and EPCs for new build dwellings.

Retrofit Assessor Training
Elmhurst Energy’s Retrofit Assessor Training provides all of the relevant skills and knowledge for individuals to undertake retrofit assessments in accordance with PAS 2035; the new specification for the energy retrofit of domestic buildings.
The Retrofit Assessor role is recommended for Domestic Energy Assessors (DEAs) who already have relevant knowledge of energy assessment in existing residential buildings. This training can be delivered either online or face-to-face in a classroom setting.
