Hairdressing and Applied Therapies
Overview
By choosing Hairdressing and Applied Therapies at NPTC Group of Colleges, students will certainly receive an education from qualified industry-experienced staff.
In particular, students will be taught in well-established facilities.
Moreover, we offer a range of courses including part-time, full time and short courses.
These courses will indeed open paths for students which include hairdressing, barber, stylist, beauty therapist, nail technician, theatrical make-up artist.
In the same way, students can exploit their skills to work in the theatrical and special make-up effects industry.
Furthermore, there are opportunities for Level 3 hairdressers, barbers, and students studying applied therapies to do work experience on a 2-week placement in Girona, Spain.
As well as this, Level 2 hairdressing and beauty therapy students will have placement opportunities in local salons and spas.
Even more, we offer a Higher Education, Level 4 part-time course in sports massage.

More specifically, our combined Hairdressing and Applied Therapies provision have eight beauty salons and hairdressing salons, a sports therapy room, and a multi-function salon.

Lee Stafford Academy of Hairdressing, Barbering and Applied Therapies
Equally important, Lee Stafford, an internationally acclaimed hairdresser opened the first-ever Hairdressing Education Academy in Wales in collaboration with NPTC Group of Colleges.
Honored with the British Men’s Hairdresser of the Year award, Lee has indeed cemented his place as one of the UK’s most admired hairdressers.
In fact, Lee Stafford is one of the most recognised names in the hairdressing industry to date.
As a result, Lee will work with our Hairdressing and Applied Therapies team to help deliver world-class training.
It’s great to be able to give something back to students. I’m very passionate about giving young professionals the best opportunity for a good education, especially in hairdressing.
Above all, I’m excited to be working with NPTC Group of Colleges’ students to develop really strong techniques and great attitudes in preperation for a career in the hairdressing industry.
