Employer Recognition Award – Taylor Facilities Management

We are pleased to announce that the newest winners Employer Recognition Award are Taylor Facilities Management. Following a nomination by our Business Engagement Advisor Robert Harris, Taylor Facilities Management were chosen by the panel as the winners for their dedication to the training and upskilling of their staff.
A FEW WORDS FROM TAYLOR FACILITIES MANAGEMENT ON THEIR EMPLOYER EXPERIENCE:

Taylor Facilities Management (Taylor FM) has demonstrated a strong commitment to staff development and professional growth through its collaboration with NPTC Group of Colleges. CEO Peter Taylor’s dedication to workforce training is evident in the number of employees who have successfully completed courses, enhancing their expertise in fire safety and compliance.

With five employees trained as Fire Door Supervisors and thirteen as Fire Door Fitters, a total of eighteen individuals across the organisation have benefitted from NPTC Group’s specialised training programs. This investment in staff development reflects Taylor FM’s commitment to industry standards and best practices, reinforcing the company’s reputation for professionalism, trust, and expertise.

Furthermore, Peter Taylor’s interest in the upcoming Passive Fire Courses at the NPTC Fire Academy demonstrates a proactive approach to continuous learning and skills enhancement. By engaging with NPTC Group of Colleges, Taylor FM is not only ensuring regulatory compliance but also fostering a highly skilled workforce equipped to deliver quality services in fire safety and facilities management.

The collaboration between Taylor FM and NPTC Group of Colleges serves as a great example of how industry partnerships can drive excellence in training, benefiting both employees and the wider community.

 

A FEW WORDS FROM ROBERT HARRIS, BUSINESS ENGAGEMENT ADVISOR, ON TAYLOR FACILITIES MANAGEMENT’ AWARD NOMINATION:

During the Period from September 2023 – February 2025 NPTC Group of Colleges have been engaging with Taylor Facilities Management. CEO Peter Taylor has shown dedication and commitment to staff training by way of the following:

  • There have been Five employees who have attended the Fire Door Supervisor Course and Thirteen employees who had attended the Fire Door Fitters Course.
  • A total of eighteen people across the organisation has received training from NPTC Group of Colleges.
  • The company prides itself on building relationships based upon trust, professionalism and expertise.
  • Training is a big part of professionalism and demonstrating skills that have been learnt and applied on the job.
  • Peter has shown interest also in the upcoming Passive Fire Courses which will be launched under the NPTC Group of Colleges Fire Academy.
