The levels associated with the non-domestic qualification typically represent a commercial buildings complexity.
The level 3 qualification allows assessors to complete EPCs on all existing commercial buildings with common characteristics and simple conditioning systems.

The level 4 qualification allows assessors to produce EPCs on existing commercial buildings without frequently occurring characteristics and complex conditioning systems. Level 4 NDEAs can also produce new build commercial EPCs.

As part of the Non Domestic Energy Assessor Level 4 qualification, candidates are required to complete a portfolio of evidence that meets all the requirements under the National Occupancy Standard (NOS). The qualification is a Level 4 Diploma equivalent to A-Level standards.

City & Guilds estimate that the NDEA Level 4 qualification requires Total Qualification Time (TQT) of 430 hours. We estimate that the portfolio can take between 4 to 12 weeks to complete depending on the time available to you.

We provide free guidance and support throughout the process from our qualified assessors to ensure you get the portfolio completed as soon as possible.
