Course Overview
This course is designed for individuals who may encounter electric/hybrid vehicles within a routine maintenance situation. This course also contains the knowledge and skills required to work safely around a vehicle that may have had damage to its high energy/electrical system.
This course covers the following topics:
Working safely around electric/hybrid vehicles
Using information to carry out the task
Carrying out repairs on high energy electrical systems
Recording information and making suitable recommendations

Entry Requirements
Applicants must possess certification of the Level 2 Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle Routine Maintenance Activities EV2.2 qualification and provide a copy of their certificate.
Furthermore, possess relevant vehicle system maintenance, repair qualification, knowledge and experience at Level 3 and be an active technician currently working in light vehicle maintenance and repair sector. A short interview maybe required to clarify entry requirements if any of the above is not held.
